Stefani, Cali is super strict on specific models when it comes to approved pistols. A manufacturer has to basically jump through hoops and additional costs even to get a pistol approved due to something silly like a grip change or version update. Many makers are throwing in the towel, as evidenced by the sheer size of the models removed during the 1/2018 revision. Currently the P30 is not approved yet. Because H&K refuses to pay a ransom to CA for testing and to be included on the CA DOJ approved list of "safe guns" that legal owners can have (CA DOJ list does not apply to criminals )
