Graeme/ I had to return a Bersa Thunder 380 back for warranty repairs three times. two instances, I paid the shipping back to Taurus (moe on that later). On the third one, I found out that the box store I bought the gun from will do it for free and handle the paperwork as well. What was interesting was the fact that Berds has you send the gun to the neatest authorized gunsmith. In both cases they paid for the return shipment. In one of the instances, the gunsmith sent a pre-paid shipping label in the other case, I had to pay for the shipment (for some reason, it was a different gunsmith that Bersa told me to use. If you are confused, your not the only one.In the end, the problem was never fixed and I sold the gun. Overall, shipping is kind of a luck of the draw. I would be prepared to pay the shipping to an authorized repair center, but they will pay to ship it back. Note that when it is shipped back, someone 18 years or older will have to sign for it.
