I have read in the description that some come 28" barrels come ported?  How do you know if you are going to get a ported barrel or not?

Joshua, you can tell by looking up by the UPC code. It comes with a Twin bead sight ported field barrel and a Bead sight security barrel.  Accu-Set choke system ported field barrel and a Cylinder bore security non ported barrel.
