The Kimber has actually been pretty decent in 10mm Daniel. I have shot one with no issue that my brother owns and it gave no issues and was very accurate. I still chose the Rock Island Armory for the lower price point and was surprised that it actually felt just as solid and was actually marginally more accurate. RIA 1911's in 10mm are hard to beat for the price.

the Kimber is a good gun. Kimber makes go great guns and some that are not so great. Quality is hit or miss. I would look at the RIA and Ruger 1911 10 mm guns

Kimber makes quality guns. But not all Kimber pistols created equal in my opinion. It is all up to you. Always make sure to get what you want and not what others want you to get. Let's say you like Big 4 by 4 trucks but I say hey it's better to get a Toyota Prius because has better gas mileage. Well that doesn't matter because that's not what you want so don't let others get try to get what you want for you I mean try to get what they want for you how you doing
