Hello Bud's. I'm another interested...very interested buyer for this Marlin model 70442. As someone mentioned, the Marlin web site does not show checkered furniture for this model number. How can this be? If you can check your inventory for this rifle one more time and confirm it does have a finely checkered stock AND has the octagonal barrel, I will purchase this gun from you guys!
