I have large hands and I need to know if The Taurus 605 is any larger than the
Mod. 85 or the Mod. 617 would be good not to show when wearing with holster.

yes it is slightly larger Taurus calls it a small frame and the 85 and 617 at what Taurus calls compact frames

I have both a model 85 and a 605. These guns are very close in size, except for the cylinder in the 605 being slightly longer and the barrel shroud being more sturdy, I use the same speed loaders in each, plus my holsters interchange with each other quite well.
