Why is there nearly $100 difference between the California version of the MP9 Shield, and the standard version. Are all the features of the gun the same?

I think the only difference is the California version has the red popup on top of the gun when it has a round loaded and ready.

CA version has chamber loaded indicator popup flag, and thumb safety. The CA version also will not fire with the magazine removed, not sure if the standard version has that limit/feature.

Ca sucks....as far as gun laws/ models,  i live here. $1 part extra on the gun, they'll charge you $100
