Yes the choke is a screw on/off Ryan. Accepts RemChoke tubes (modified included). Modified is the max choke for a slug but you will slightly better accuracy out of the cylinder choke by removing the modified choke for slug firing.

James you can shoot slugs out of a full with no problems the no slugs in a full choke is a myth It will not give the best accuracy but it is still safe for best results use a IC but never shoot a rem choke barrel without a choke installed
