I've seen that with some of the recent Rugers. They do not completely machine the frame (investment casting) and the cases will drag on the high spots sometimes. You'll see brass on the spots if it's happening. Easily fixed but a P.I.A..

MY GP is flawless and I can tell you that if do have any issues Ruger will take care of it buy one and dont worry about it
Rogelio, you will not have this issue with the newer Ruger GP100's. Myself and my brothers run everything under the sun through ours and the only worry you have is proper cleaning. All are 1 to 3 years old.
