Yes, Andrew, the 1100/1187 Series Remington Shotguns have interchangeable furniture.
Yes the furniture is interchangeable with the 1100
Hi Andrew, Yes the 1100/1187 Series Remington Shotguns have interchangeable furniture.
the stocks yes the fore arm is a maybe some fit and some don't The 1100 gas piston on the barrel is in a little different position than the 11-87 barrel. If the 1100 wood is pre 1992 it may not fit. If the 1100 wood is post 1992 it may. Confusing yes? In 1992 Remington Re-introduced the 1100 to specs very close to the 11-87 which was supposed to replace the 1100. 1992 was also the year the Light Contour Barrel was introduced. Now the LC forearm will not fit a standard barrel, but a standard forearm will fit a LC barrel because the forearm is not supporting the barrel in either model.
forgot to mention old 1100 forearms have a detent ball to hold the cap on the 11-87 and the new 1100s use a plastic piece in the magazine tube so not even all 1100 forearms will work on all 1100s
