The HC only included a case, lock and two mags. I believe the HCSP included the extra XD gear package, two mags, special case, with belt holder, speed loader, mag pouch, holster, etc.. But now that they stopped including the gear, I'm not sure why the HCSP is still priced this high? Unless it does still include the extra gear for now? Other then that, I see no difference. Springfield has a great rebate going on right now too.

The only difference seems to be that the XDG9101HCSP has a Melonite finish the does not list it on Bud's web page. I can't determine any difference viewing the Springfield Armory web page? Both seem to be eligible for the Springfield promotion through end of this month. http://www.springfieldpromo.com/
