Thanks for the info guys. Now I had a maverick 88, good gun, but I live in a humid area. The barrel kept surface rusting no matter how much I clp'd it. Does this one hold up better in humidity?

it going to be about the same. I live on the NC outer banks and I wipe my guns with Birchwood Casey RIG universal gun grease and have no rust issues I use a old rag that has been used forever with RIG and it leaves a thin protective coat https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/62371/Birchwood+Casey+40045+Rig+Gun+Grease+Firearm+Grease+12+oz
