Is the trigger group metal? Also is that a metal receiver. That's silly if that will rust but extra protection on barrel. Thx in advance

Hi Jim, the Receiver is made of a "Metal Alloy" and the trigger guard is a "Composite" Material and not metal.  (http://www.winchesterguns.com/products/shotguns/sxp/SXP-Current-Products/sxp-marine-defender.html)
