I've read mavericks whole trigger assembly is plastic. Is this true about this Winchester also? Lastly is this particular model made in USA or outsourced to turkey?

Yep, same construction as the Maverick's Jim and is outsourced from Turkey.  (I get your point wholeheartedly, (200mph engine and 50mph tires, genius)!
