Anthony, I've watched this gentleman load this several times and it seems to have a Bolt Release Hold Button that releases the bolt after he loads the shotgun. Looks like the bolt handled is cycled, shells are loaded, then he pushes a bolt release button : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0TQhB_4IUk

Anthony, You can lock open bolt and load shells, put one in chamber and release the bolt. Bolt lock open button next to trigger like Rem 870 pump release, bolt release button on side of receiver. Easy, you'll love it.
