Not sure when savage starting putting Magpul mags in this particular rifle but from the sounds of it the savage mag leaves some room to be desired. So, what mag does this rifle come with? Magpul AICS or the savage make?

This rifle comes with a Magpul AICS Magazine Jeffrey.

I think they now come with Magpul mags. The older version doesn't, I assume, as I have the older version. I'm not 100 percent but I like to give my input to help fellow gunners make a decision.

Jeffrey, You are correct. This model is being advertised and shipped from Savage with the Magpul AICS mags. Buds may have some inventory with Savage mags, but I doubt it. Always can buy that extra Magpul AICS Mag anyway
