I am curious. I own a .44 handi rifle and was thinking about getting another one in a different caliber. everywhere I look these guns are out of stock. Is H&R no longer manufacturing these firearms?

What happened to H&R is that they are owned by marlin. Marlin got bought out by Remington and Remington is no longer making any handi rifles. Your best bet to find one is to check here and your local dealers and gun shows and see if you can find a used one. Unfortunately thye are no longer in production. Hope this helps.
