Jerome, the Wilson Combat Trebcanp3 bolt carrier can definitely do 5.56 and handle the lower pressure .223 no problem.

It will shoot either with no problems. I use lots of Wilson Combat products and they are outstanding. For those of us who understand Physics the 5.56 and .223 work at the same pressures (they both launch the 55 grain bullet at 3150 fps) only the chamber cut is different. The 5.56 chamber will accommodate both cartridges.
