Roberto, I don't know where some people get their info, but this firearm is direct gas impingement. There is no gas piston. Gases go back the gas tube directly to the bolt to function the firearm.

Roberto, This firearm is direct gas impingement center fire sporting rifle. There is no gas piston to move bolt. The gases go through the gas tube to the rear gas block sending gases into bolt to move it and cycle. The only piston type movement is the locking lug assembly at the front of the bolt that goes in and out about 1/4' when firearm cycles.
