Hi Kenneth, Unfortunately Buds doesn't open or altar firearms to make state compliant. I'm in Ca too and have tried many times.

Buds does not open/alter firearms packages by policy Kenneth. I know this would help many folks such as yourself out but, this is a long standing Buds policy. Also this pistol has not been approved on the CA DOJ Roster just yet.
