Hi Richard, Buds does not open or alter firearm packages or accessories including magazines. I know it would help lots of folks out but, Buds will not by their policy. Terribly sorry Sir.

Bud's actually will open the package to simply remove the magazine in many cases, as they did when they sent my WASR AK-47 variant to Colorado, with our FUBAR 15-round capacity. I just ordered the rifle, and the next day when their system flagged it (the automated message you'll get even states that they can remove the mag. with your permission if that's all it takes to satisfy local gun laws) I spoke to one of Bud's awesome reps, and it was in their shipping department that afternoon. Hope the late answer came in time to do you some good!
