Doug, the Curve is actually a decent pocket pistol however. I would recommend the Ruger LCP II over it any day of the week. Vast improvements over the original LCP in terms of trigger, ergonomics and reliability. https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/2084_2108/products_id/22617/Ruger+LCP+II+.380ACP
Taurus quality is hit or miss I also would recommend the Ruger LCP II as the best small pocket 380 https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/2084_2108/products_id/22617/Ruger+LCP+II+.380ACP
Taurus does have great quality control, id reccommend the Smith and Wesson EZ380 or the Ruger LCP, although some of those rugers have had issues.
Doug, The Taurus semi-auto pistols have greatly improved quality control. I have had no problem with any of my Taurus firearms. The curve is a great pocket firearm. 3 others to consider Ruger LCP II, S&W Bodyguard with Crimson Trace laser, or Walther PK 380. All would be good choices.
