It is threaded. I got to shoot one yesterday at the range and it was accurate to 300 yards and easy to handle. The trigger is very heavy though. Uses standard AR magazines which is nice.
It is definitely NOT threaded 5/8x24, it IS threaded 1/2x21. Any standard AR15 muzzle device will work. Also, the trigger is fantastic, light and crisp. Not sure where the other guys got their info from. The RFB is the 7.62 version. The RDB, like the rifle in question, is .223.
