Phil, both rounds will fire from the Beretta Tomcat. For reasons unknown (probably the barrel rifling) the 71 grain bullet is the more accurate bullet from the Tomcat. My guess is that it is stabilized slightly better in this particular pistol.

not enough difference between the 2 bullets to be important shoot whichever you can find at a good price
