Hi Zak, Buds has cycled through the non updated pistols back in late May. It is highly unlikely you would get one that needs the update. In any event, Sig has a free voluntary update program either way at : https://www.sigsauer.com/support/p320-voluntary-upgrade/

I've had two P365s, a very early one and one made in June. Both functioned fine, but there was a lot more wear (peening) on the earlier model barrel than the newer one. I sent the early one back to Sig and they replaced the barrel/slide. If you were to get a 365 that was giving you problems, just call Sig Sauer customer service and explain the problem, they'll fix it as needed.
