It will not due to the cylinder Adam. The frame is the same size as the Taurus 85 which this holster fits but the cylinder is larger on the 856 due to the extra round for the 6 shot cylinder. This holster Fits: Rossi 35102, 35202, R351, R352 - Taurus 605 (no polymer frame), 650, 651, 85 (no polymer frame), 850 CIA, 905, UL85 (no polymer frame).
