I am LE so does that mean I cannot buy this gun. Do I specifically need to purchase the LE model to ship it to massachusetts b/c of the compliance issue?

you can buy either this gun and the LE are the same gun the LE is just packaged for sale to Qualified professionals at a (sometime) discount price (sometimes you get extra mags or accessories in the package)  details on the QP program Many major manufacturers offer discounts to a large list of individuals they consider Qualified Professionals.
