I see several conflicting answers about this subject is this gun shiny blue or is it black parkerized. some of the reviews saying that the gun that they received is flat black in color but the advertisement says that it is a lustrous blue.

James, this will depend on the batch of pistols. The finish should be clearly on the box so I would have Buds Customer Service ask their Inventory Dept, answer or contact you with which they have at at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button bottom right of the screen.
