yes it will but it may require fitting 1911 parts are not true drop in parts and require fitting and/or checking replacement parts for proper fit

here is a high probability that it will drop right in as Smith and Wesson 1911's have pretty spot on tolerances Gerald. Slight chance that if it is not perfect, it may require minor fitting.

Usually they will drop in in cheaper 1911's with more wide open tolerances. You will probably need to adjust the length of the hood. This barrel is for a standard unsupported barrel/ramped frame model. Be sure that your S&W does not have a ramped barrel or it will not fit.
