I would spend the extra and get the Ruger hands down Ben. Now, I have no direct experience with the Chiappa but a $75 "For Sure" or a potential $375 "Whoop's", I would get the tried and true "For Sure".

the Ruger hands down even if it was $200 more would be worth it Ruger you are getting a Quality American made forearm the Chiappa guns are imported from various makes and have a hit or miss quality record

I'd stay away from the Chiappa carbine. The ones I've seen at PCC matches choke a lot. I owned the Ruger PC Carbine and shot it competitively and came in 3rd in Iron Sight Division at the Arizona PC Championship.The Ruger is extremely accurate with the iron sights, It has a great trigger. It handles and points well (I hit the thrown clay bird with it). It never malfunctioned which is a miracle. The only problems I had was that the set screw for the block that receives the take down barrel loosened and started migrating out of the receiver. The fore end kept loosening up and the bolt started shaving aluminum from the receiver. I admit I shoot way more than a normal shooter but 5000 to 10,000 rounds will probably wear this gun out.
