Its going to depend on the gun and even with 2 identical guns one may function and one may not I suggest trying a box and seeing. The only ammo that is guaranteed to work will be full power standard loads from any of the major manufacturers

Gary, If your using a suppressor it should work. Be about the only reason you would want sub sonic ammo. Without a suppressor you could be over or under gassed. If your semi-auto is direct gas impingement or short stroke piston operated. May need adjustable gas block to use it. Lot of variables. Get a box with your next ammo order and try it. Full power standard 140 to 150 grain ammo should work in anything.
