They are likely mixed on these surplus guns. And Buds will not tell you which one you're gonna get because they really don't know. They are pulled randomly for shipping and condition and years will vary. There is no way to get a serial # before hand and many have tried. Its pot luck really.

Yes the import markings can be in either place and sometimes both on the slide and frame. Hope this helps.
