I think it looks better. The Marine finish is corrosion resistant, so if you live in an area with high humidity it should hold up quite well. Parkerizing can wear off, but still pretty tough.

it is slightly tougher than Parkerizing but I don't like the silver look

Not better Carlos, just more effective in a specific environment, namely salt. They are equally tough for the respective environments in which they were designed to live.
