The Tactical has a decocker and the standard has a manual safety that allows you to carry cocked and locked like a 1911.

The SP-01 is a "selective" action and the SP-01 Tactical is a "de-cocker". The selective action SP-01 can be carried de-cocked or cocked with the safety applied. The Tactical can be carried de-cocked only. They are very hard to find right now so get one quickly.

The Tactical variant of the SP-01 utilizes an ambidextrous decocker in place of the manual safety on the standard SP-01.
