Luis, Stainless PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is far better than plain Stainless Steel. PVD is an innovation in the creation of coloured stainless steel making the surface significantly harder and more durable in the process. This is produced through the process of PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) Titanium Ion Plating which improves the performance of stainless steel by increasing wear, scratch and corrosion resistance making its durability far superior to conventional coating methods such as electroplating or powder-coating.
Stainless PVD is the color of the PVD finish used on the frame of this model. It can still wear off, but is a decent finish that looks good. (I have the P226 alloy stainless elite).
Stainless PVD is a coating stainless steel has no coating I prefer Stainless steel
