I love my Sig 238-380. But it blew up with a hot load. catastrophic failure. Sig wants way to much to fix it. $300 for a new barrel and new slide. For $150 more i can get a new one. How does everyone feel about the Kimber Micro 380. I just have a bad taste from Sig warranty department. When i get the paper weight back i will look on Ebay for a used barrel and Slide.

Ben, $500 for this Kimber .380 is a deal. kimber's limited warranty is as good as anybodys. Don't think you can blow this 14 oz firearm up. Plus looks a lot better then a Sig with Kimber's rosewood grips.

its a good gun and I think you will be pleased with it as to some of the comments below any gun can be Blown up was it a factory load or a reload that caused the Sig to blow up as no one will warranty a gun when you are using reloads (I reload)

Ben, glad that you are ok. Don't know how hot a "hot load" you mean but, hot ammunition give many manufacturers pause on warranty work. I think Sig should have handled this differently though. Kimber is good to go all around in quality and Customer Service.
