Benelli started a limited re-run/re-make of the M1's at the beginning of the 1st quarter of 2018. If sales remain steady, maybe regular production will be continued.

It is a new run of them but they are different from a M1. It has the plastic trigger guard from a M2 and the barrel is the same from a M2 with crio chokes. Biggest difference in feel is the forearm does not wiggle like in the M1 because of the different barrel.
