Yes Gayle, the 22 Mag Cylinder will fit this pistol. The magnum cylinder has a smooth exterior and a .22MAG rollstamp on it, while the long rifle cylinder has 6 flutes on the exterior.
It will however you need to check it for timing and cylinder to bore alignment before firing. The combo 22lr/22mag factory guns are fitted and checked before shipment

I would not try it, I had a 22lr revolver that came with both cylinders the lr. and the mag. so you need to be sure the barrel is made to shot the mag, these barrels are a lot thicker and stronger.
