I believe the law stated in the second response is for an IMPORTED rifle. Does not apply to US made rifles. The Ruger 10/22 Takedown 22LR 16.4 FLSP BL show in the picture does indeed have a threaded barrel.

Not certain of the question, but you are correct. This model does indeed have a threaded barrel.

I have this exact gun and yes the barrel is threaded, 1/2"-28 - in fact it's an A2 style muzzle brake that even fits on my 223.. It's not a slip over muzzle break if that's what you were concerned about.
