I am actually looking for a used Series 70 as a build platform. I am not familiar with the markings on these are they true to the original series? This will ship to my local FFL in California?

This pistol is true to the Original Series David. There currently are no Colts on the CA DOJ Approved Roster.    https://www.oag.ca.gov/firearms/certguns?make=All
