As long as the trigger isn't pressed it shouldn't go off. Carrying with a round chambered is more of a personal preference. I carry a Glock 43 chambered and I understand the the extra risk in doing so. I also understand the risk in not doing so.

Yes it is perfectly safe Gary. That was the purpose of the "Zero Energy" Striker Fire feature. Combined with its mechanical striker block the Zero Energy Striker on the DB380 should make it a very safe gun to carry concealed.
