No, there is no tax for online buyers unless you're in Kentucky. Some goofy states require a tax at the FFL, but not Mississippi.

Firearms are generally treated like any other item at the time of purchase, so if you buy from a local gun shop, yes, you will pay taxes. As a general rule, purchases made online, like from Bud's will be exempt from state and/or local sales tax. Many states are starting to take a closer look at the amount of merchandise being ordered online, though, and some are passing legislation requiring that state sales tax be collected for on line and distant transactions.
