George, this shotgun has a Fixed Improved Cylinder & Modified choke. I'll let you make the determination from here.

"Coach guns" are meant for close quarters use and generally have a "cylinder choke" which is to say, no choke. The gun is as capable of firing .45 Colt as is any other .410 chamber, but a .410 shotgun is has a .410" bore even without a choke. That means a .452" bullet must swage down .042" or just over a millimeter in diameter to make the transition. Handguns chambered to take both .45 Colt and .410 are basically .45 Colt bores with the chamber lengthened to accept a .410 shotgun shell. The "trade-off" is "bullet" accuracy will be reduced due to the amount of "free bore" in the chamber, but once gets to shoot things like 4-pellet 000 Buck from a handgun.

NO the 45 long colt chamber pressures will exceed the .410 tested chamber pressures
