Back in June 2018 the supreme court ruled that states would be allowed to collect sale tax on online purchases it loos like NC has done the necessary paperwork to have buds collect NC sales tax. It was Just a matter of time and I expect all states to do it soon I also live in NC and it put the tax on mien when I went to checkout the taxes started 1 Dec 2018
