The more expensive model costs a little more due to the frame being made of stainless steel rather then anodized alloy that's why it's 5 oz' s heavier. Also it adds on a thumb and grip safety. Plus I personally think it looks a lot better ! Both firearms are single action.

Couldn't have said it better, they are both great looking pieces..buy what you WANT..even if it means saving for another pay cycle! Always look for an exposed hammer, or lack thereof...a hammer is a good "no-fail" tell of a single-action pistol. Enjoy, be safe and be happy!

I have the "Army" model in olive drab/black and it is a very accurate and comfortable pistol to carry. I'd go with the alloy frame (budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/77878 ) if you'll carry it in your pocket. My heavier pocket pistols tend to work my pants down over my hips. This is one of the better 380 micro size pistols. I cannot seem to wear it out no matter how much I shoot it.
