It seems there's a limited amount of people posting who are pleased with the performance of slugs through this gun, but seeing as this shotgun comes with choke tubes, I'd imagine you're limited to Foster or Brenneke style slugs. I'd contact RIA directly to see what they recommend in terms of slug usage.

Ture, the 20inch barrel will be accurate enough for deer Sir. I would pattern a few slug loads to find what brand/type is the most accurate and then stock up on that particular lot. Good hunting!
