Your ID has to be from the same state your picking it up at. You need to get a Florida ID if you live in Florida.

You can purchase a LONG gun as long as its legal in both states handgun sales have to be done in your home state you could purchase a handgun but it would need to be shipped to a ffl in your state to complete the paperwork
