This is the Carry version of the SAS Gen 2, so there is no rail, a normal SAS Gen 2 has a picatinny rail. No known issues i can see through research, Sig does make some quality firearms.

Bradley, Buds currently has the "Railed" Carry version listed under "Qualified Professionals" : https://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/722033614/Sig+Sauer+P227+%7C+Nitron+%7C+Carry (It is a solid and reliable pistol with excellent reviews).
sorry this is the non railed version it is also no longer listed on the sig web site so it may be out of production sig now only shows the p227 in the full size version https://www.sigsauer.com/products/firearms/pistols/p227/ There are no common problems they are one of the best guns made
Sig Sauer Website no longer displays any P227 model. This is 227R3-45-SAS2B that has the fabulous DA/SA short reset trigger, but no rail. Much better than standard P227 IMHO. And, the only SAS model on Sig website is P938 SAS Micro-Compact.
