When looking for the exact same gun but with 10 round mag I was pointed to the regular Compact (w/o the factory custom mods). Does it even exist? If not, would the regular Compact 10 round mag fit in this one (the Carry version)?

The compact carry model is not offered with the 10 round magazines only the standard compact and buds will not ship it without the magazines beretta does offer another compact version with the 10 round mags that you can get available here budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/73642/Beretta+JXC9F20+PX4+Storm+Compact+10%2B1+9mm+3.2
yes the 10 round mags will fit but Buds will not sell the gun without the 15 round mags included

Luciano, I have heard recently of Buds Reps offering to remove/substitute Magazines. You can ask directly at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon-Sat and 11am - 7pm Sun (7 days a week).
