The receipt will be valid for the purchase. You must get the physical product in your hands and mail the UPC and serial number before the deadline though. So as long as you get the gun and mail everything by Jul 31st, you are ok.
Purchase any NEW M&P SHIELD® pistol, M&P® BODYGUARD®380 pistol, or S&W® SD™ or SDVE™ pistol and receive a mail-in rebate. Offer valid April 1 - June 30, 2017, you can fill it out after June 30th, but purchase date must be before the 30th. In your case the purchase date would be the payoff date.
Can anyone confirm if down payment date is really considered the purchase date. I have misspoke before.
Jason, When i buy a layaway from Buds, they send an order received recepit with the full total on it. The layaway part comes in a second email and is separate from the main receipt for the order. So from a purchase standpoint you get a receipt on the date you make the layaway. For rebates this is cool, because as long as you pay off the gun and get it in before the rebate mailing deadline, you will have the accompanying UPC or proof of purchase items that have to go along with the receipt to the manufacturer. Now, if you buy the gun, but dont pay it off, get it delivered, and mail everything in time, then no, you wont get the rebate. So it gives you a little leeway, but not much.
Makes sense to me. I know they want that receipt uploaded too, and as along as its given for the proper date, it counts.
You have until July 31st to get the rebate, but only if completely paid for by June 30th.
